Over 40 years ago, dedicated men and women sat down together to discuss a vision. The vision was to develop a retirement community in Henderson County to provide housing and healthcare so residents would not have to move away from home as they grew older. They expanded on an idea of one individual, Mignon Sullivan. Megan Sullivan was a patient of Dr. Kenneth Cosgrove, a young local physician and member of the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce. The idea and concept was so intriguing to Dr. Cosgrove he sought assistance from other leaders in the community. For the next 10 years the group would face challenges but never gave up on that dream. This group was the inspiration for our Vision, Mission, and Passion of who we are today. These qualities are the cornerstones of our organization, and are what inspires us to provide quality services today, tomorrow, and for years to come. Please enjoy this short reflection of our wonderful history.
