Care Center

For those who do not need full care, but need assistance in living, there are two options. The Village's assistance-in-living program can provide some help to residents who remain in their apartments or cottages. Trained personnel are available 24 hours a day. Each resident has a small nurse call transmitter (see photo) that will identify the individual and his or her location on the campus when the button is pressed so that help can come quickly.

For those who need help in dressing, bathing, etc., the new Care Center, which opened in October 2009, offers 60 individual accommodations, with help available as needed. These rooms are 430 square feet and have walk-in closets and private bathrooms. Care Center residents are free to have their meals with their friends in the main dining room, but there is full meal service within the Care Center.
