Physical Wellness

This dimension of wellness encourages cardiovascular health, muscular strength, flexibility through regular physical activity. This facet of wellness advocates healthy lifestyle habits and personal safety. Physical wellness promotes activities that contribute to high-level wellness including the appropriate use of the healthcare system. Carolina Village Physical Wellness opportunies currently include:

Guided Wellness Walks leaving from the Exercise Room on Monday - Wednesday at 9:00am, Thursdays at 9:30am and Fridays at 11:15am.

Indoor Wellness Walking at 11:15am on Mondays and 1:30pm on Thursdays leaving from the Front Entrance.

Wii Bowling on Mondays at 2:00pm and on Wednesdays at 12:00pm in the Carolina Room.

Resistance Training with Steve from the YMCA at 9:30am on Tuesdays and Fridays and Thursdays at 1:30pm in the Carolina Room.

Balance Class w/ Jim Huftalen on Mondays at 10:00am in the Village Hall.

Abdominal and Core Class offered on Mondays at 10:00/10:30am and on Thursdays at 9:00am in the Carolina Room.

Healthy Heart Cardio offered Tuesday and Wednesdays at 3:00pm in the Exercise Room.

Ping Pong on Wednesdays at 11:00am and 3:00pm and on Sundays at 3:00pm in the Carolina Room.

Line Dancing at 9:30am in the Carolina Room on Thurdsays.

Balance and Spatial Awareness offered on Wednesdays at 11:00am in the Village Hall and on Fridays at 3:00pm in the Carolina Room.

Kay Rhinehart's Exercise Video offered on Tuesdays and Fridays at 2:00pm in the Carolina Room.

Lelia Patterson Aqua-tone swimming class at 8:30am meet at the Front Entrance to main building.
