Nutritional Wellness

This dimension of wellness offers meals that are both appetizing and healthy. Menus and food choices are enhanced by the ability to make wise decisions on healthy choices. The food that is put into our bodies is a personal decision that we are each individually responsible for. The results of our levels of energy and ability to be more or less physically active can be directly related to makeing smart food choices. Carolina Village Nutritional Wellness opportunies currently include:

A class offered on Thursday afternoons at 4:00pm called "mypyramid.gov". This class will teach participants how to track their food intake for the day. The participatnts will be taught how to use a website based on the food guide pyaramid. The infomation input by each person individually will provide each person with information on what they have eaten and what they should eat more of.
